DIAGNOVITAL INFLUENZA A/B SARS-CoV-2 Multiplex Kit is a Real Time PCR-based diagnostic test for the in vitro qualitative detection and discrimination of SARS-CoV-2, Influenza A virus, Influenza B virus RNA in respiratory specimens.

SARS-CoV-2 is considered a novel human coronavirus which cause seasonal acute respiratory illness. The influenza virus A and B are the most common types of circulating influenza virus, and type A is responsible for the majority of influenza epidemics. The SARS-CoV-2 and Influenza A/B viruses may rise very similar symptoms.

Target genes:
- SARS CoV 2 Nucleocapside (N) gene
- Influenza A Matrix 1 (M1) gene
- Influenza B Nonstructural protein 2 (NS2) gene
- Human extraction control RNaseP gene
3 Different Channels: FAM™ for the INFA/B, TEXAS RED for the SARS CoV 2 and the RNAseP (HEC) is detected in the HEX/VIC channel
